Project Consulting startup needs non-corporate logo designed.

We are a new company that will specialize in Project Management
for

- The focus will be on compliance , process management / re-engineering, project management and outsourcing and domain expertise.

in need of project management and execution skills.

Our name is Makai Consultants LLC, Although the logo should say Makai Consultants. Makai is a Hawaiian word for "towards the sea" or " seaside" or " by the sea", so would require a logo around that theme. The details of the projects and customers are not that relevant. The logo should not be too complicated or busy and since we are a small boutique consultancy, I dont want it to be too flashy either. In some ways it can be close the logos for Basecamp etc. at 37signals.com.

Also I am not too appealed by a very "corporatey" logo since we are a small business, with two or three partners and intend to be that way.

While we have Makai name now, I want the flexibility to change the name later as well without changing the logo. This "By the sea" or "towards the sea" theme will be consistent.

The following three colors are preferable: blue, green, hints of red , yellow

Our specialization is diverse and customers will include projects for: IT companies, Recycling / Green technologies.
