We are a real estate investing company located 20 miles east of St. Louis, MO. We work with individual home buyers and sellers who are in abnormal circumstances and help them to find a solution. Although profit is important, our primary focus is on helping the customer. If we can't produce a win/win outcome for ourselves and the customer, we will not take the project.

Our customers are home buyers and sellers with needs that are not met by conventional means. Our buyers are typically individuals who are unable to obtain bank financing or get into a home that fits their needs. Likely they are coming off of a hardship and are looking for a fresh start. In turn, individuals that sell to us are usually unable to work with realtors or sell it themselves because of time or money constraints. In these situations the property has become a burden to the seller and they are just looking to rid themselves of it.
This is why the name "Sprout" was chosen - it signifies the opportunity for our customers to wipe the slate clean, by getting rid of or getting into a home, and beginning a new growth point in their lives.
We hope to create an image that is fresh/upbeat and won't blend in with other real estate firms. We are looking for something modern/contemporary. We will be designing a website around this logo and would prefer a Web 2.0 feel.
We want to convey a clean/responsible image, but we aren't looking for anything overly professional.
The logo must be able to easily be incorporated into a website, business cards, flyers, shirts etc.
We are unsure of exactly what color scheme we are looking for - be creative.
Please let us know if you need any additional guidance. We would like to keep things somewhat open ended, because after looking at other contests, we were sometimes blown away by designs that didn't follow the pattern of what we typically like.
