We are experienced Internet advertising professionals who are creating commercial products and services that enhance consumer privacy while enabling advertisers and web publishers to make more effective use of data. Many companies in the online advertising industry feel forced to choose between revenue-driving practices that violate user privacy and responsible privacy practices that sacrifice revenue opportunities. We believe that we have developed solutions that will bridge this gap and foster trust in an industry that is lacking it.
We will be a business-to-business solution whose clients will primarily be online advertisers and their advertising agencies, but we will also be serving web publishers, legislators and regulators in both the US and Europe, and privacy advocates. In addition, we intend to be consumer-facing, as we hope our logo will ultimately serve as a public seal of online advertising best practices.
We want our logo both to represent our company and, at some point, also to be able to serve as a trusted symbol in the online advertising industry. If our project is successful, we would expect advertisers to include our logo on their websites and perhaps even in their online advertisements as well.
We want the company name -- PrivaCeed -- to be part of the logo, perhaps in clean, simple, bold letters beneath a symbol. We have considered a letter "P" that incorporated a key, a keyhole or a lock, but that may be too much of a cliche or too cheesy. We would like the symbol to be able to be removed from the full logo (without the company name) and used as a stand-alone.
We're looking for something that feels strong and secure without seeming ominous or heavy. We were thinking of medium-to-dark green or blue as the primary color, but we are not wedded to either.
Definitely, no animals or feminine colors.
