Homegrown Margarita Juice
I am starting this company because I believe I've made something that is necessary in the marketplace. Because it's delicious, and nothing like it exists. I think this idea is big, and that this will be reflected in the growth and popularity of the company. Good tasting, quality food products are made with real food, and the same rules apply to beverage mixes. This business idea came to life from scratch, in a tiny kitchen in my apartment. After a year of research and planning, it will now be sold at the Sunset Valley Farmer's Market, one of the top rated farmer's markets in the country. This logo will be on the front of my booth and on every bottle I sell. I live in Austin, TX; one of the most laid back, chilled out places you could ever hope to be. It's also big on great food, and huge on health, quality of life, and the organic movement. I want this product (and it's logo) to reflect the attitude and atmosphere of one of our country's most prominent tex-mex destinations.
Conte para a gente quem é você e quem é seu público alvo
The target audience is anyone who drinks margaritas. More specifically, it is people who drink them and who also are likely to buy organic products. This means an age range of roughly 20-55 years old, educated, and with a little bit of money. Think of people who shop at Whole Foods and Central Market more than they shop at HEB. People who order a premium margarita when they go out to eat, instead of the house margarita. Our audience is smart, cares about their health, and cares about the environment, but they also like to have a good drink and have a good time. They have money to spend on the premium stuff, or are willing to pay an extra buck for the healthier, tastier choice. Young (at least at heart) and professional, but carefree and liberal.
I will also be selling this product to businesses eventually as well, including but not limited to: restaurants, bars, grocery stores, alternative grocers, liquor stores, and distributors mainly. But I don't think this affects where we are trying to go with the logo very much.
Please refer to the example PDF, as I want something VERY similar to this. Take the example design and make it cleaner and more lively. I really want the audience to get a feel for the PLACE that this comes from when they see the bottle. Think homestyle, natural, earthy, organic, hippie-ness crossed with modernism, eco-responsibility, and premium quality. This logo is going to be at the top of the market booth where the product will be sold, on my business cards, on the label, basically everywhere.
In keeping with the organic theme: only earth-tone colors, specifically brown, orange, and green. Attached is a sample that a friend worked on for me. The color pattern and text arrangement should be the same as in this sample. I also really like the lime for the "o" in "grown", feel free to be creative with this concept but I am pretty set on what she has done there too. I would like the text itself to have modern look-clean, clear letters, evenly spaced, simple. I would like to see it with and without backgrounds. The idea is to print the text straight onto a brown paper stock, to enhance the natural feel of the design.
I know that margaritas fit with a Mexican or "tex-mex" kind of theme, but I really would like to stay away from that unless you have an idea I just have to see. Check out the Ben+Jerry's Ice Cream and Sweetleaf Tea websites. These websites are basically the feel I am looking for, combined with a modern looking text.
