Como Kellie Rigney começou a jornada do(a) design de logotipos
Nome da empresa
I am an Australian business woman Having recently moved her from America where I ran a successful jewelry company called The Bauble Nest. see http://www.thebaublenest.blogspot.com. I am now launching a new business here called "Zjoosh".
Zjoosh is a new and unique Australian retail concept targeting women between the ages of 35 to 65. Zjoosh sells a large range of affordable fashion jewelry and accessories alongside a small range of quality core capsule wardrobe pieces. The idea is that a quality simple, yet stylish base wardrobe can be made brave and unique with statement jewellery at a low cost. Looks can be interchanged easily bringing a unique personality to your overall look.
Zjoosh does not consider itself a clothing business, it is essentially a jewelry and accessories business which understands that women appreciate being shown how to "layer" interesting pieces over basic clothing items with confidence. The clothes are the base and the jewels are the ZJOOSH!
The defintion of the word "Zjoosh" is to: tweak, finesse or improve something. This word perfectly encapsulates what my business aims to do. You begin with a base and then "you Zjoosh". Effectively you "decorate yourself".
Zjoosh is run by women FOR women. It understands the joy of getting dressed and Zjooshing an outfit to become unique. It encourages women to use their "fashion voice" to express themselves.
Conte para a gente quem é você e quem é seu público alvo
The Target audience is women between the ages of 35 to 65. The Zjoosh customer is sophisticated and not afraid to try new and interesting looks. The Zjoosh customer is interested in fashion. Zjoosh Customers are not "safe". Zjoosh customers are "BRAVE".
Zjoosh prices make following fashion easier and more accessible. Zjoosh closely follows the designs set by leading fashion houses. Zjoosh understands that women like to remain in step with changing looks and trends regardless of their age or body shape. Whilst the Zjoosh customer appreciates quality fabrics and classic design when it comes to clothes, she is not afraid to layer on interesting and exciting accessories to create her signature look.
I would like something glamorous yet sleak. My last business was called the Bauble Nest which I felt was a little "twee". I would like something a little more sophisticated. The things which spring to my mind are metallic silver against a crisp white background. I had also thought to use a border which could be interchanged say for example zebra print in pale powder blue and white.
Because the logo will be used against a myriad of colours and designs, it will need something very universal. So perhaps the pale grey and white. I do think a softer palette would be best considering the amount of colour in some of the jewelry and scarfs it will be up against.
I am thinking I need to make some sort of symbol out of the Z that could be easily stamped on metals going forward as jewelry tags.
My logo will be used on earring cards, packaging, business cards etc. so is metallic the right thing? I like bold sleek fonts like perpetua titling and also gothic copperplate. I am thinking all caps.
I would like the font to scream confidence and glamour without being tacky at all. It needs to appeal to older women also.
