Discover Myrtle Beach / Myrtle Beach VIP Card
Discover Myrtle Beach is an online and print tourism guide to the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area. The site is seen by over 2 million people each year.
Our project is a membership program to give discounts to tourists and locals coming to the area for vacation.
There are usually about 300 participating vendors who honor the discount card in our area.
Our target audience is ANYONE looking to take a vacation to the Myrtle Beach area and looking to saving money on their hotel, get discounts and nightclubs, restaurants, attractions, golf courses, shops and everything else tourism related.
Locals can take advantage of the membership year round.
Each year we design a new card with a completely new design. We want to incorporate our new logo into the design if possible, but still keep the Myrtle Beach VIP Card name involved.
We have provided a ink to our hi-res logo for designers to incorporate into the card design and designs for our card each year since 2001. You can see what we were looking to design and an explanation of its details.
You will note we do like abstract designs and backgrounds and the use of people. However, neither is a requirement. We are looking for a very cool looking design that will easily stand out to tourists who see the card displayed around the city.
We seek a different look each year to make the current version unique. We never had a logo for Myrtle Beach VIP Card, but with our new Discover Myrtle Beach logo, we would like to incorporate it some how, but make sure people know this is the Myrtle Beach VIP Card at the same time.
We do a different color them each year. This year, will be harder because we've used the primary colors red, green, orange, blue, and gold (yellowish) already. The design should not be colored the same as 2009 for sure. Try to avoid blue also.
