ColorCombos.com is a website used by web designers to find and create color palettes.
The target audience is made up of web designers, but also artists such as scrapbookers.
I would like to have a title bar designed for ColorCombos.com.
The bar would appear at the VERY top of the existing website. The background should be a dark color (possibly blue?) that goes with the existing website. The color palette for the logo can be found here - http://www.colorcombos.com/combotester.html
The bar should be able to be created using CSS, with few images. The Tab Links should be actual Text and Not Images.
The title bar should include the following elements.
1. Logo - to the far left. You can change the colors if you need to make the lettering white.
2. Tab Labeled "Combo Tester"
3. Tab Labeled "Combo Library"
3. Tab Labeled "Articles"
4. Tab Labeled "Resources"
5. Link anchored 'Login'
6. Link anchored 'Join'
7. Search Field
8. 'Go' Button
The title bar should have rollover effects for the Tabs.
The title bar should be short, 40 or 50 pixels tall.
I like the way the Twitter title bar is fixed to the top and the rest of the website scrolls under it.
I may add a wireframe later. I don't want to restrict anyone's creativity. I am including the logo files.
Additional Comments - Here are some more ideas about the title bar. There are two distinct areas in the title bar. The area to the left is made up of the Logo and the Tabs. The area to the Right is made up of the Links and the Search Field and button. There should be some visual separation between the two. The trick is to make the logo look good and blend with the dark background. It would be nice to see some type of gradient and/or noise applied to the background. Thanks!
