Whirlwind Print has strong ties with designers and the creative industry as well as franchisors, multi-store outlets and corporate and government organisations.
Whirlwind is launching a sustainability promotion to promote its environmentally friendly paper, particularly Envirocare (uncoated, organic feel, 115gsm and 300gsm) and 9Lives80 (brilliant, smooth texture, 150gsm and 250gsm) papers.
We're seeking a design that inspires designers to print on these papers by demonstrating that these are beautiful, functional and responsible choices.

We invite you to create a design that showcases how the one design appears on various papers, from 100 per cent, organic paper to sleek, white and partially recycled paper.
On the main design (brocure), we’ll include product information, including environmental credentials, tag lines, product info, technical info, design tips as well as Whirlwind’s corporate responsibility initiatives and contact details.
On separate promo cards we'll feature one complementary design across the various stocks. This may be a simple illustration or design.
While we’re not set on the final size of the brochure, we have either a square design in mind (ie 6pp roll fold, 210mm x 210mm), or something that is or folds down to DL. The promo cards will work in with the brochure.
Illustrator or PDF files preferred.
- Inspiring, elegant, quality, possibly vector and/or stock images (think, but not restricted to, grass, butterflies, frogs etc.). Polished and clever but understated. Creative fold and/or formecut design welcome. Text in Arial with black stipple as follows: general big headline 96pt 30%, subhead 48pt 50%, small sub head 24pt Arial 70%, body text 11pt 100%.
