This is a cover for a magazine (small format size) that will be used to promote a yearly event showcasing 16 new homes to the public during the weekend of April 30th & May 1st between 12 and 4 p.m.. I am running this contest on behalf of the Kingston Home Builders Association and all artwork in transfer will go to them. The cover is for and about this new homes weekend in support of the participating home builders.

The focus of the cover is be catchy and grab new home buyers interest on this weekend event. I am enclosing last years cover which is an example of what we don't want this year. Last years cover focused on the big flag and left to little emphasis on the new homes and the date...(the Flag shown on the left is out this year. The cover should draw you in to the content, the weekend date and call you to action for the date of the event.

1) Kingston Home Builders Association Logo (does not need to be real large - enclosed)
4) Tour 16 new model homes, full info and map guide inside!
5) Sponsored by (logo for Terra Nova Truss - enclosed)

I have some suggestion but they may not work and again I don't want to steer this, so ignore and do as you see best. The one idea I had was a parade leader holding a flag with some of the key content in the flag and homes behind.
