Arrival 3D is a Virtual Reality software integration company for data-driven 3D business applications. We have a software product which is a 3D virtual reality tool used to display telecom and data center equipment. Our web site is http://www.arrival3d.com.
We are exhibiting in an upcoming trade show and need a banner to attract attention to our software. The banner does not need to display our logo.
I have run several contests on this site and have always paid, even when results weren't that favorable. I will probably offer at least one secondary prize due to creativity and/or quality even though it might not be something I can use directly. If you look at my previous contests you will see that I have a history of doing that. I have also found this site to be a good place to form relationships with designers that I like, even if they did not win the contest.
Conte para a gente quem é você e quem é seu público alvo
The audience we are seeking at the trade show are engineers and technical decision-makers from medium to large size utility and telecommunication companies.
We would like the banner to have the style typically used by large companies, which have a high visual impact without having too many elements. If you do a google image search for “banner stand”, you will see many examples of such banners that are sophisticated and pleasing to the eye without having a lot of items. We want to draw in foot traffic, so ideally the banner should be eye-catching even if one stands too far away to make out the details.
Create a trade show banner that is 33” wide by 82” high. The banner should be sophisticated and have a high visual impact without having too many elements. It should contain an interesting central graphic, with the words “stay on the same page with Collaborative Engineering in 3D” split above and below the graphic. The word “3D” would have a little more emphasis to it, such as a 3D effect or larger and a different color. The background could be a white tiled floor (see floor_tiles.jpg) for the bottom, or a space/sky (see in-the-clouds.jpg) on top.
The theme is the depiction of telecom equipment data “breaking out” from a 2D piece of paper to 3D space. One way to do this is to use a floor layout in the form of a CAD drawing that shows items progressively rising out of the page (see CAD_floorplan.jpg and 3D-import.jpg). The equipment can also transition from looking digitized/wireframe to photorealistic and lifelike. A nice perspective view of equipment aisles to infinity (or to some distance) might even further enhance the wow-factor.
I attached a zip of several photographs of equipment from telecom and data center rooms to familiarize you with how these environments look (see equip_room_pics.zip).
Update: I added a whiteboard sketch of a possible layout (see whiteboard.jpg). But don't copy the graphic - its a poor example meant to show equipment racks rising out of the page.
