Another mock brand that I loved working on. The polygonal aesthetic was chosen as an homage to gaming, and the colours were picked specifically for the energising mood that the combination between magenta and yellow creates; contrasted with a dark purple background. The logo is a wolf's head, that turns into a lightning; symbolising the wild and primal energy that gamers channel when having to take split-second decisions in games.")

I wanted to design a viking using negative space but still make him seem to ask the question \"Why?\", or be inquisitive, at least. To that end, I made his eyebrows cut into the shape of the helmet, and made one slightly higher than the other. Also, I tilted the helmet, to add a bit of personality to the logo.")

I wanted to design a woman with an afro, with a chic implied pose (you can see thanks to her shoulders that she has one arm extended to the right and one lowered, implying she is using the left hand to support her torso, while the right arm is extended on the knee). I also wanted to use retro colors, but keep everything minimalist, so that it may still look amazing if the logo was black.")

What's Brand Identity Design? It's the post you see about that nice phone you've been thinking about buying, it's the feeling you get when you interact with a brand's image, that which represents it's values, core beliefs, and personality in an easily digestible visual system. Think Apple, with it's sleek curves and minimalist logo. Think Starbuck's, and that feeling of upper-class customer service and craft coffee, which you get reminded of by seeing their logo.
