This cover i designed is for a mystery thriller novel entitled "Unknown Threat". I wanted the design to look clean and easily grab attention, so i chose red as a dominant colour. Also i kept the design simple, indicating some elements like the silhouette of a man holding a gun and the trees in the grey shaded background creating an uncertain atmosphere so that the mysterious circumstances could convey more quickly in one's mind.
