This artwork is part of the opening video for a fictional series about São Paulo, developed as my final project for the Multimedia technical course.
The project aimed to portray characteristics of the São Paulo capital and its contemporary contrasts. The intention was to provoke a critical reflection on inequalities, anxieties, and distress, while simultaneously celebrating the beauty, wealth, and diversity of the city.
Inspired by the visual style of openings from series like Narcos and Godfather of Harlem, the project adopted a color palette derived from São Paulo photographs, featuring striking shades of gray and orange.
This endeavor involved extensive observation, research, and experimentation, representing a significant effort to capture the multifaceted essence of the metropolis.
