Logo for 'Hot Otter Sauce', a chilly sauce producer of many varieties and degree of hotness.

The design was proposed to fit a supposed vertical layout of a given sauce bottle's label. It was also a prerequisite that the otter would be interacting in some way with something "hot".

It was ultimately a declined design...
the client stating "I don't like this direction, can you try an otter standing up? Round logos are not very suitable for a tall skinny bottle" but the curved pose of the otter and the chilly pepper it is holding served as the 'inspiration' of the winning design... curious, yes? well, it happens....
