Norea Media Mission is a Christian mission organization that has produced radioprograms for Norway since 1956, and later on TV programs. Today we support mission projects on four continents in more than 30 languages.
One of our major projects is Project Hanna. This is a ministry offering compassion, encouragement and hope to suffering women worldwide through prayer, awareness and radio programming.
In Norway we focus primarily on sound and video on the web. In addition we want a greater emphasis on dialogue and interaction on social media like facebook and twitter etc.
Our vision: to give people hope for life and eternity.
Young modern/urban Norwegians between 20 and 39 years.
Our mission statement for our new website:
- To inspire, inform and engage people so they will be on fire for and feel the urge to support the ministry of Norea by praying for it and by donating money.
- To be the best choice and and a intuitive resource-site for everyone who wants to listen or watch Christian programs, or read the latest news related to missions, persecutions, churches, humanitarian aid and other issues that touch Christian lifestyle.
- To offer programs as podcasts, for download and streaming both on demand and live shows.
Our new design should show the user a modern media mission organization. We want a design that is “youth friendly” (between 20 and 40 years), and at the same time give the impression of an organization that is up-to-date, also when it comes to design.
Which we’d like some moving imagery either through an slide show to make the page come alive and to focus on our projects in different parts of the world. Too give you an idea of what we mean with focus on images, take a look at this example pages:
This will be used for all subpages and will have a mixed use purpose to display either a combination of text, images, video (16:9), or sound provided by our team. All the content will be like different modules in our CMS. Hence, any background artwork on these pages shouldn’t upstage the content.
Make alternative solutions with 1, 2, 3 and 4 columns.
Usually we use the blue version, but it is also possible to use the white if it looks better.
The content, images and menus will be driven by a content managed system + will need to allow for varied page length, any number of sub pages and the use of a style sheet to govern the style, layout and font of the pages.
The files we will require are:
Web file format - .jpg
and layered .psd (RGB)
Please do not use any content or graphic designs that are copyrights or in any way will cost money to use.
