Here's the deal. We are a design firm that needs some help. We're getting behind and need a few new "looks". We presented a finished home page design to a client. They initially liked it, however a newly formed "committee" means we need to present something "different". Same general concept, just some new layouts.
The overall look and feel is strongly intended to focus on the people being helped. Not to focus on construction. This will help them stand apart from their competition. To be clear, the company builds for those transitioning from being homeless. They truly believe in helping these people, and not just getting a check for their work. The warm, welcoming, friendly, helping feel should be very evident in this design.
I'm including the initial comps that they liked the concepts (not design). Especially the transition effect of the slider caption: "A Strong & Solid Home"
I am providing the PSD file however please note the areas that must change (also feel free to start from scratch!):
• No sepia tone images. Use full color photos (providing 2).
• No "RECENT HEADLINES" area
• No "SITES WE LIKE" links
• No "boxy" look. We used a grid and they didn't like how boxy it seemed. You can still use a grid, just be aware of the client's opinion.
