Phoenix Computer Training
I’m a certified Adobe Expert and Instructor, and an instructor for MS Office with a successful niche: I teach one on one, traveling to my clients’ offices to help them solve specific problems on real life projects. My clients trust that I will get them through tough projects efficiently, on deadline, and that we’ll actually have fun doing it! They say that I’m friendly, helpful, patient, flexible and very knowledgeable. I see myself as a provider of solutions and an enabler – when a training session is over, my clients know how to do what they need to do. My site needs to convey that same efficient, technically proficient, yet friendly, sense.
The Home page has brief copy, a photograph of me with a client, and links. Additional pages cover: About me, programs I teach, testimonials, referals, samples of client's projects, pricing and contact. All copy is written and on my current site, (except clients sample project). The current site is intentionally “design-neutral” so you can be creative without prior design constraints. Read the content to get the tone of the site, plus the copy length that needs to be accommodated at:
I just finished a logo contest here and am happy with the result. The file is attached. I have credit for 4 images at ShutterStock.com
Primarily professionals, ranging from architects to small business owners to social agency and technical pro’s.
Production-ready Photoshop files (psd’s) for a Home page and Secondary pages that are flexible enough to accommodate various copy lengths and additional display graphics that I use to illustrate training topics for each program. (I may use the winner of this contest to help me with those designs, as well.)
The logo appears on all pages. Note that the yellow-orange color of the logo should be an accent, rather than a predominant color on the site. Colors that you choose need to complement the logo color, and also convey a calm competence. My clients are professionals who need to learn software skills for their projects and careers, and I want them to trust that they will receive successful instruction at a good value – not be overwhelmed by a flashy, over-the-top site.
The trademark phrase, Fast, Lasting Learning™ appears on all pages, as do the 4 Adobe Credentials.
If you have any questions, or seek comments on designs, I’m happy to communicate.
Be creative. Have fun. Thanks!
