The Pentecostal Christian church “Christengemeinde Elim” in Hamburg, Germany, needs a fresh and modern design for its website. The Elim offers many activities and groups for every age. Furthermore, there is a deep effort to meet the needs of people in Hamburg, Germany, and the rest of the world. The current website can be found here: http://www.elim-hamburg.de.
- People interested in the Elim
- Over 1,000 church members and visitors in every age (0 - 100 years)
The visitors’ main interests are:
- What is the Elim?
- What does the Elim do for me, Hamburg, and the World?
- The last sermons (MP3, PDF and Video)
- What’s up next Sunday or next week?
- Contact / Directions
For the youth and internal communication purposes the Elim has two extra portals which are not part of this briefing.
We need the following two types of pages.
- The home page
The home page should contain visually attractive buttons for accessing the most important sub pages. The current home page can be found in the attached file elim-home.psd and under http://www.elim-hamburg.de. The current design should be improved, e.g. grouping of the buttons should be possible. Please keep in mind that some buttons are regularly updated by a tech-savy person who is not a professional designer.
- The sub page
The sub pages should use the same header and footer as the home page. Besides the normal content area, we need extra space for additional information (e.g. contact person, different logo, links).
Please feel free to change the actual design and positions of the menus. The requirement is that they are just intuitive and nice (maybe without drop-down menu).
The final output should be in a Photoshop file, with the different elements layered and grouped as state of the art.
The Elim’s logo is attached to this brief.
If you need additional information or assistance with German words, please do not hesitate to contact me.
