Family owned and operated Italian restaurant established over 22 years ago Paul and Dorothy Fidrych. With friendly service and high quality (home made) food at an affordable price we keep our customer coming back for more.
Our restaurant is cozy seating 45 inside and an additional 35 outside during the summer months. In addition we provide take out, catering and retail pasta and sauce sales.
Since our opening in 1988 we have won numerous yearly awards including CT Magazine Reader's Choice Best Value, Best Family Restaurant, Best Italian, and Best Vegetarian.
Unique to our business is all homemade pasta and sauces. We provide customers with an upfront view of pasta being made and cut to order in our large front window.
Dining with a beautiful view of the Thames River and scenic downtown New London from out outdoor covered deck in the summer months as well as from the window seats inside year round. Customers enjoy river traffic, area sailers as well as Coast Guard and an occasional submarine vessel.

Our local customer base is comprised of families, senior citizens, college students, professionals, and members of the Coast Guard and US Navy. It is not uncommon for us to know our regular customers by name and preferences. However, we also draw a large tourist crowed in the summer months from New England and around the world.
We would like a clean, easy to navigate modern site. Professional and fun without cartoons or stock family/customer photos. While we are not opposed to the use of flash as part of the home or other pages please, stay away from a flash "opening" page that must be entered or bypassed to got to the home page.
The Paul's Pasta logo is our trademark; when our customer see it they know just who we are (our logo can be viewed at http://www.paulspastashop.com - this site is a good example of the outdated style we are trying to move away from). Our logo should pay a key role in overall web design and appear on each page.
The green in our logo is our signature color along with burgundy, a light soft peachy color, and dark hardwood brown. We intend to use the site for retail sales in the near future.
Paul's street address, hours of operation, no reservation accepted and accepting all major credit cards should appear at the bottom of each page.
