DressTwice

Visão geral

DressTwice is a swedish online clothing firm, which sells clothes for infants and children up to the age of six years.
What is unique for DressTwice is that for each article of clothing a customer buys; DressTwice will match the buy by donating a piece of the same type of clothing for charity. The slogan is "DressTwice - Double the joy" based in the feeling of doing good by buying.

The brand DressTwice stands for togetherness and "bridge building".

The concept is incorporated in the clothes by having the brand coupled with "twin symbols, to clearly express and emphasize the twofold benefit of buying from DressTwice. The symbols differ (two hearts, two stars...)However, they are always simplistic in design, approximately of the same size.(examples: http://eu.fotolia.com/id/3666112

The design of DressTwice is "clean", straight lines with pure, strong contrasting colours, not cluttered with too intricate patterns.
The message of doing good by buying, should be strong and reinforced by the slogan and shifting pictures of please customers and the happiness that comes with giving.

Regarding Logo
We need a logo that express togetherness, that express the serious part of the company, an high quality image of DressTwice. Not too childish. It would be nice if the logo could reflect the twofoldness and twin concept without beeing deadlocked to any specific symbols. We like this logo as a example ( a bit too detailed though, but the feeling it expresses)

But the name should be combined with the logo, one way could also be to use a bridgetheme, fourleaf or some togetherness symbol.
A uniq font is possible, not Curls font in the logo, not too childish and no romantic style. Clean, straight lines with pure, strong contrasting colours, maybee reflecting male/female - red/blue or pink/lightblue (Dress could be one colour and Twice another). DressTwice should be spelled with the D and T as capital letters. It is also possible to make a slight difference between the fontstyle for the different words Dress and Twice or to twist DressTwice into two parts where Twist goes a bit upwards. However it must be easy to read DressTwice.This is just input to give you some ideas of our Logo thinking.
The logo must be scalable
Articles, videos etc. with the founder will be featured on the site, in order to, in a personal way, convey the philanthropic goals and activities of the company.
There must be a space for the company mascots "Meet the mascots".

The primary target group is European parents to infants and children up to the age of six years, who are interested in fashion and charity; the secondary target group is the older children, who will wear the clothes.

Requisitos

Initially, we need a logo and a webdesign designed.

We need at least two (2) page layouts for the website design: homepage, and product categories page.
It is up to the developer to, in addition, present suggestions for other pages/page levels if he/she so wishes.

Please, be creative and come up with a WEB style design based on OSCOMMERCE.

· The design must be based on OSCOMMERCE
· Design of both logo and website
· DressTwice brand name should be used in logo
· Free choice of colors used, but that design of DressTwice is “clean”, straight lines with pure colours, not too intricate patterns.
· Design for minimal 1024 x 768 resolution, center aligned in browser.
· Be creative in structure and the usage of photos.
· High quality, unique and professional design, all in web 2.0 style
· Website must be easy to grasp and use.
· No inline scrolling, so whole webpage will be scrolled
· Website should use the whole browser viewport
· Provide logo in vector format Adobe Illustrator.
· Provide web design in Adobe Photoshop.
