Diller Microrobotics Lab

My research lab at the University of Toronto makes tiny medical robots to go inside your body for surgery and drug delivery. We use magnets to move the robots.

Our micro-robots look like tiny grippers, and we use electromagnets outside the body to drive the microgrippers like tiny robots.
All audiences should understand from the logo that we work on small-scale medical robots using magnets. Key audiences in order of importance:
1. Engineers/scientists with no expertise in this specific area. International audience.
2. General public interested in my research. International audience.
3. My current lab researchers. They should feel proud of our lab, and believe in the research vision.

Use University of Toronto blue. RGB: (6,41,88)
Also can use red with the blue to indicate magnets.

I’ll use the logo at the top of our website, and on powerpoint slides and posters. https://microrobotics.mie.utoronto.ca/
I might also want to include “at the University of Toronto” on the full-size logo.
The attached logo concepts were made by us. I like some of the elements like the magnets and microscope, but am looking for a more professional and attractive idea.
I’m interested in combination logos.
