They wanted a high end, modern and premium looking brand to appeal to more affluent parents/guardians who are more likely to spend their disposable income on kids travel essentials.
To incorporate the theme of travel, I created a simple sunshine mascot and then utilised the sun-rays into the main logo. The typography has been fully customised to give a chunky, rounded feel - keeping the design friendly and approachable whilst maintaining an upmarket feel.
The colour palette was a muted selection of primary and child friendly colours.")

As the design was for a t-shirt company, I kept the design flat in colour so that it can be easily adapted for print and small spaces.
I used a retro typeface called Mudstone Sans which I then modified slightly to give the client a completely unique logo mark.
The overall brand featured more illustrative elements which can be used to bring the whole identity together.")

For this, I used a retro typeface style (with customisation on the k) and created a chicken face within the S.
After going through some revision rounds, the client requested flames to reflect the spices used in their recipes.
The client was really interested in using this hot pink colour to stand out against the usual reds/oranges of fried chicken establishments.")

The client was keen to appeal to a younger audience so I created this custom type logo featuring 'doughy' letterforms to give the brand a unique, fun and friendly vibe.
I went on to create some illustrative elements using well known pizza ingredients and keeping the style really casual to further enhance that welcoming, young feel.")

The slogan uses the same doughy custom typography to bring the branding elements together and features heavily across the rest of brand.

I loved the idea of creating something 'tribal' for this brand. As they use the natural elements for their sport, I wanted to create something that looked weathered, and 'not perfect'.
I created this custom typography and then - taking inspiration from tribal art - i created this symbol to convey waves, wind and sun.
The symbol can also be deconstructed which allows the individual elements to be used across the rest of the branding.")

For this design I used two different typefaces together and created a simple pretzel line symbol to mimic the secondary typeface, bringing a nice overall balance to the design.
I added the blue as an accent colour to help stand out against competitor pretzel brands which mainly used yellows/oranges/browns.")
