I created the scene in 3D so it would be easy to rearrange the fighters. The client liked the dynamic of the image, but requested the fighters to be changed, as their appearance had been established via use of stock images on a previous book cover in the series. As I had created the battle in 3D, I just had to create a model of the new fighter and place them in the scene.")

I created each treasure chest in 3D and animated them so they would spring open with coins tumbling out when the player clicks them.
In designing the treasure chests, I made sure each had a distinct color and silhouette for for easy, immediate visual recognition by the player as well as higher \"gratification\" for the more valuable tiers of rewards.")
